WELLFEST IS COMING TO BELFAST
Europe’s biggest outdoor fitness and wellness festival is heading up north for the very first time - and we can’t wait!
That’s right - WellFest is coming to Belfast! After ten incredible years of bringing movement, mindfulness, and magic to Dublin, we’re thrilled to announce that the festival will be expanding to Northern Ireland in 2026 with a brand-new WellFest weekend in Ormeau Park, Belfast next September.
This marks a huge milestone for us as Europe’s largest outdoor fitness and wellness festival celebrates its 10th birthday - and what better way to celebrate than by bringing the WellFest energy to a brand-new city?
Co-founder of WellFest, Anthony Kelly, puts it best:
“Together, WellFest’s two-city festivals shape a unique summer experience, with Dublin kicking things off in May and Belfast closing the season on a high in September. Ten years ago, we set out to create a festival that celebrated fitness and wellness in all its forms - an inclusive event where friends, families, fitness enthusiasts, and first-time festival-goers alike could come together and connect through movement and conversation. Next summer’s 10-year celebrations and Dublin line-up, alongside our expansion to Belfast, reflect the incredible growth of the wellness movement across the island of Ireland. We’re proud to keep evolving, expanding, and inspiring, with more announcements and surprises still to come.”
A Decade of Wellness (and Counting!)
From humble beginnings with 1,500 attendees at our first one-day event back in 2015, WellFest has blossomed into a full weekend experience welcoming over 12,000 people to Dublin every year. Now, for the first time ever, we’ll be bringing that same feel-good festival atmosphere to Belfast.
Over the past decade, we’ve been lucky to welcome some of the biggest names in health and wellness - from Joe Wicks MBE, Davina McCall, and Mr. Motivator, to Katie Piper, Ella Mills, Fearne Cotton, Roz Purcell, and so many more. These incredible voices have inspired and motivated our community, helping shape WellFest into what it is today: a vibrant celebration of movement, mindfulness, food, and connection.
What to Expect in Belfast
Next year’s festivals are set to be bigger, bolder, and buzzier than ever before. Both WellFest Dublin and WellFest Belfast will feature an exciting mix of international talent, local legends, and new voices leading hundreds of fitness classes, wellness talks, cooking demos, and family-friendly activities.
And yes - Maeve Madden will be headlining both Dublin and Belfast next year (we can hear the cheers already!). The first wave of acts for the Northern Ireland festival will be announced later this month - so keep your eyes peeled for more names joining the line-up soon.
Whether you’re a yoga lover, a HIIT enthusiast, a foodie, or just looking for a wholesome weekend out with friends and family, WellFest Belfast promises to be the event to round off your summer.
So grab your mat, pack your positivity, and get ready - because WellFest is officially coming to Belfast.
