As WellFest Belfast continues to grow, we’re on the lookout for a Junior Community & Wellness Coordinator to help us nurture grassroots wellness communities and spread the WellFest energy far and wide. This is an entry-level, incentivised role, perfect for someone at the start of their career who’s excited to learn, get hands-on, and be part of something meaningful.
About the Role
This role is all about community, connection, and creativity. You’ll work closely with the WellFest team to help us get out an about with our new Belfast community through local engagement, events, and social content. Think discovering amazing studios, chatting to local wellness legends, snapping content at feel-good events, and helping us spotlight what makes each community special.
Time commitment:
1 day per week from November 2025 - March 2026
Increasing to 2 days per week from March onwards
Compensation:
Daily rate plus incentivised extras
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting the WellFest team in building and nurturing a local wellness community in Belfast/NI
Getting stuck into online and offline community engagement, including attending local fitness and wellness events
Helping us discover and highlight local studios, park runs, cafés, and wellness brands
Capturing photos and short videos at local activities (with guidance from our marketing team)
Sharing ideas and supporting content for WellFest social channels
Engaging positively with the community on social platforms, always in line with WellFest guidelines
Collaborating with the wider team through planning sessions and regular check-ins
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need loads of experience - just the right energy and attitude.
We’d love someone who:
Has a genuine interest in fitness, wellness, and healthy living
Is friendly, outgoing, and enjoys building relationships
Is comfortable working towards goals with support and encouragement
Has basic familiarity with social media (personal use is totally fine!)
Is keen to learn, open to feedback, and excited to grow
Is organised, reliable, and able to manage their time with guidance
Nice to Have (But Not Essential)
Experience taking photos or videos on a smartphone
An interest in marketing, events, or community management
Awareness of the local fitness and wellness scene
